Support operations and maintenance of Windows Server platform hardware, operating systems and associated core services including Exchange email, file, and print servers. Responsible for supporting equipment in a Microsoft Windows environment, from design through implementation and support. Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. The work includes investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.


  • Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Microsoft Windows environment to the specifications of client proposals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer and telephony related issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support
  • Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance.
  • Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support


This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. This is a Lead position. Experience should include at least 10 years designing, implementing and supporting the following core Microsoft technologies:  Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, WSUS, DNS and DHCP.


Knowledge of VMware, Citrix, or SharePoint, SQL server, and Cumulative Update installations is desired.


Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, planning and teamwork skills are required.  Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal. Additional key competencies include attention to detail, technical literacy, and perseverance.
