    This position is off site but will require lots of travel to DC & Philadelphia.


    The PM will oversee the modernization efforts of the ASSIST database. ASSIST serves as the official repository of all specifications and standards maintained within the Defense Standardization Program (DSP).  Through ASSIST, DoD is able to maintain centralized control over the physical and electronic storage, indexing, cataloging, printing and distribution of Military Specifications and Standards, and related standardization documents


    Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. 

    • Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the system design, development and deployment, and migration of legacy data)
    • Shall work with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and COTR, Government management personnel and stakeholders.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated leadership experience in projects of similar size and complexity
    • Seven years general IT experience
    • Must possess a DOD Secret Clearance, and be eligible for an IT-II upon assignment
    • Must possess a Risk Management Professional credential
    • Must possess a Project Management Professionals (PMP) certification or equivalent


    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

    Master’s Preferred
