Overview

Assist the FBI Facilities Services Unit (FSU) with Print Shop graphical design and the printing of graphics to be used by various Government entities.

Responsibilities

Provide support service such as: the analysis of customer printing, publication design layout; development of technical graphics and printing specifications; page layout instructions for printing that include text style, color and graphics styles, color and graphics design, paper choices, printing production techniques, and binding methods.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in assisting with the duplicating of reports and graphics, and with the conversion of graphics publication page layouts to confirm to printing standards.
  • Experience in supporting FBI customers and have an extensive knowledge of the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products to include word, excel, publisher, etc., and the process of Adobe PDF conversion.
  • Proficient in operation of the following types of coil binding equipment to include a GBC Digicoil Inserter, GBC Magnapunch, and a GBC CI-12 Desktop Coil Inserter and crimper.
  • Must have knowledge in operating a Baum Ultrafold 714 XE Folder and a Challenge Titan 200 Paper Cutter.
  • Experience operating a Xerox 560, Konica 6501, Konica 1050 and other various copiers. Experience in running these copiers and pieces of equipment are important in order to estimate schedule time for each of the required tasks.
  • Must have knowledge of the various types of paper that are used throughout the printing industry.
  • Must be able to identify the types of stock that are used within the print shop (with training) and make decisions necessary to complete requests.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with FBI methods of documenting, handling, and disposing of classified documents and printing jobs.
