Perform installations, configuration, administration, support, tracking, and maintenance and participate in the assessment, testing, and analysis of Linux-based complex and secure computer systems. Review design documentation, vendor self-assessments, network protocols, and software code for system vulnerabilities. Provide technical information system security testing in support of the appropriate security risk management processes using security assessment and technical testing efforts, including in-depth network or application vulnerability testing, such as automated and manual testing and demonstrable false positive validation.
Develop documentation in support of testing efforts, including test plans, preliminary findings reports, security assessment reports, and other similar test artifacts for the government, as required. Maintain responsibility for supporting hardware and system engineering efforts and providing maintenance and sustainment for existing and new government systems. Assist with full life cycle support for critical systems in both operational and test environments. Provide engineering change input for government system upgrades and ongoing engineering efforts.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret with SSBI clearance is required.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must be a US Citizen in order to obtain and maintain an interim and final security clearance.
