  • Responsibilities

    • Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, communications or other related field. Minimum 3 years of national security and IC policy and evaluation work experience within the federal intelligence, defense, and/or law enforcement communities.
    • Knowledge of laws, regulations, directives, and policies related to U.S. National Security and the USIC.
    • Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills.
    • Expertise drafting and coordinating policy documents, analytical products, and briefing documents providing legally sound analysis and recommended courses of action.
    • Experience supporting complex federal programs with frequent aggressive and/or competing deadlines.
    • Expert oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
    • Superior ability to facilitate communication and coordination among federal partners, organizations, and working groups to support the FBI's participation in the IC policy process.
    • Superior ability to self-start and take initiative with minimal support or guidance.
    • Skill using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) software.
    • Writing samples required.

    Qualifications

    Preferred Experience and Technical Qualifications

    • MBA or Master's in public policy or other related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience interpreting, analyzing, and applying U.S. National Security and USIC legal authorities.
    • Seasoned expertise working in a federal interagency environment, including collaboration with multiple U.S. government departments and agencies on joint programs.
    • In depth knowledge of FBI operations, USIC functions, roles, and components, including the intelligence cycle.
    • Experience briefing executive-level audiences.
