  • Overview

    Responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the use of NCIC and its underlying business processes.  Will provide insight on the impact of improvement initiatives on NCIC and the criminal justice community.  Will also work collaboratively with NOPU on strategic and tactical planning efforts.  Will work with business analysts to provide guidance and clarification on the impact of new business process and requirements.  Will be responsible for but not limited to defining strategy, analyzing business processes, and specifying requirements for NCIC.  


    Minimum Experience:

    • At least 15 years of experience working with NCIC, the criminal justice community, and supporting the CJIS APB process.
    • At least ten years eliciting and collecting data through interviews, group facilitation, surveys, web search, database search, or other methods.
    • At least ten years identifying information gaps and preparing plans to address those gaps.
    • At least ten years synthesizing and analyzing data and information from various sources to identify needs, goals, objectives, opportunities, and risks.
    • At least two years of analyzing and defining requirements and developing functional specifications.
    • At least two years of experience managing requirements within the IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation tool.
    • Experience performing in a Scaled Agile, SAFe environment with SCRUM team participation supporting Agile Release Train within the continuous pipeline delivery.

    Minimum Years of Experience:  20 years of work experience

    Minimum Education Required:  Bachelor’s Degree

    Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret
