  • Overview

    This position requires an advanced knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, VOIP, wireless devices and various security products. This role will take on the responsibility of managing and securing a multi-site Federal environment.

    Responsibilities

     

    Description

    • Provide Tier 2/3 support for physical, wireless and security appliances deployed within the infrastructure
    • Engaging with solution partners to identify and remediate network challenges
    • Interact with other teams to resolve connectivity and solution issues
    • Refine and maintain Monitoring and Logging infrastructure to ensure DHS CDM requirements
    • Document current infrastructure
    • Ensure Network Team compliance with CM process

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Current Cisco Certified Network Associate certification(CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Associate Data Center (CCNA Data Center)
    • Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree OR three to six years of progressively responsible IT network job-related experiences
    • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation and support experience
    • Cisco Prime and MSE experience
    • Verifiable experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting various Cisco devices

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • CCNP VOIP or CCNP Wireless preferred
    • Expertise with implementing Cisco NAC, MSE and ISE with Cisco networking - Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers, Wireless
    • Ability to configure and maintain networking equipment, such as routers and switches using IOS, NX-OS and IOS XE
    • Experience performing software upgrades on Cisco devices
