  • Overview

    Provide an individual with the necessary credentials and experience to serve as the EXIS Information System Security Officer (ISSO). The ISSO is the POC for all EXIS security-related items.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Must have the necessary credentials and experience to serve as the EXIS Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
    • Must have FISMA experience.
    • The ISSO is the POC for all system and application security-related items.
    • Must have experience in maintaining Authorization To Operate (ATO) through DHS' , TSA’s, or a federal agency  System Accreditation and Certification process, which includes development of a System Security Plan, server hardening, testing, and scanning, vulnerability mitigation, security auditor on-site testing, and ongoing scanning and monitoring via the ISVM program.
    • Must have experience:
       - Performing Annual Assessments
       - Managing remediation efforts
       - Performing all updates of the ATO documentation package
       - Providing on-site support for IV&V testing
       - Entering and managing POA&M’s
    • Will be required to perform ISSO / Information Security services to specifically include:
       - Manage the Security Information and Even Management (SIEM) tools to ensure that logs are reviewed daily;
       -  Work with SIEM tools to review reports on up to the minute changes in the security posture; and
       - Perform audits of the hosting environment to ensure all requirements are met.

     

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or a related field.
    • Must possess or be in process of acquiring a SECRET clearance.
    • 10 years of experience required.
    • CISSP preferred.
