Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. The ISSO will attend project meetings, review design documents, evaluate software products, research vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and provide recommendations on products all in support of cybersecurity for all TSA Innovation Task Force (ITF) initiatives. A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required: understanding of business security practices and procedures; knowledge of current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools; familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology
