  • Overview

    The Financial Analyst will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing budgets and income statement forecasts. The ideal candidate is someone who is an ambitious and looking to join an organization that is willing to invest time and resources to gain experience and develop their skills. The Financial Analyst will assist with providing guidance that enables oversight for the TSA Portfolio of Investments (both Mixed Life Cycle and Sustainment) to include IT and Non-IT Systems/Services and products that ensure compliance with applicable OMB and DHS Guidance. 

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the Performance and analysis of actual results at the corporate level. 
    • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to Sr. Leadership (company performance, contract performance, etc.).
    • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
    • Explain complex financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors' degree in Finance or Economics.
    • Experience performing budget/cost activities in a Federal Government program office environment.
    • Working knowledge of Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC) and use of either eCPIC or INVEST would be helpful.
    • Versed in use of Excel at the intermediate level (use of macros, lookups, etc) and an understanding of collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
    • Individuals who are looking to create a career in Financial Analyst or Planning.
    • Ability and availability to go above and beyond.
    • United States citizenship is required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
