  • Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the oversight of all aspects of day-to-day operations
    • Ensuring that the security posture is sustained and that the residual level of risk is always at an acceptable level
    • Ensure CND capabilities are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with the IATO/ATO
    • Conducting assessment reviews to ensure compliance in regard to applicable IAV/A/Bs, STIGs, or other mandated policies
      performing vulnerability assessments IAW pertinent Department of Defense security policies
    • Ensuring all security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented IAW pertinent Configuration Management Plans.
    • Ensures all information system security-related documentation is current and accessible to authorized individuals
    • Notifies the Project IAO/IAM/ISSM when changes occur that might affect accreditation as well as ensures system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the information system life cycle
    • Provides security evaluation (s) and emergency system change (s) that have been identified as security risks along with modification details to the installation to project leadership

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Ten (10) years of experience in Mission Assurance, Networking, or C4I programs to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment
    • Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Certification in at least one the following: (a) Routing/Switching/Networking for Juniper or Cisco, (b) OS for Windows or Linux Variant, (c) VMWare, (d) Firewalls, (e) MS SQL, (f) Active Directory, or (g) SPLUNK. Specific experience in: Management, Supervision, Written and Oral Communication.

    Education: BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science

     

    Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
