TMR Inc, seeks a Subject Matter Expert Consultant to support our client in Washington DC. This candidate will be a consultant with Subject Matter Expert experience.


  • Facilitate sound enterprise wide IT decisions,providing oversight to IT investments including monitoring IT projects and the performance of operational systems.
  • Develop processes and procedures to comply with FBI IT policy, provide timely, accurate information to FBI leadership.
  • Facilitate development of an IT strategy that aligns to the FBI mission, manage the reporting of achievement of strategic objectives through the FBI’s Strategy Management System (SMS).
  • The principal role of one oversight body, the Information Technology Review Board (ITRB), is to review and make recommendations on: IT Strategic Planning; IT Enterprise Architecture; IT Investment Plans; IT Investment Portfolio; IT Security Planning; IT forums for increased collaboration and inter-agency communications; IT Risk Management Planning; and IT Annual.
  • Spend Plans and Budget submissions. The ITRB is responsible for the review and approval of information technology capital investments and establish standards and make decisions to ensure strategic objectives for information technology are met.  Documents and/or products prepared by the contractor will be used to support the ITRB decision-making process.
  • The contractor shall utilize standardized tools, processes and checklists that ensure the ability to produce Business Case improvement reports and corrective action plans outlining how submissions may be improved to ensure passing scores are received during Subject Matter Expert (SME) scoring reviews prior to release to the DHS Enterprise Business Management Office (EBMO) for forwarding to OMB.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 3 years related work experience.
  • Must be able to pass a DHS suitability background Investigation check.
