Overview

The One23Group/TMR, Inc., a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a Network Systems Administrator, Senior.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and sustains network operating rules, objects, and flows across a complex, global enterprise.
  • Critically analyzes network infrastructure to find opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce the threat profile.
  • Participate in audits covering network security services and technologies.
  • Architect, engineer, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and services.
  • Configure and install network and security related hardware and software.
  • Open ticket with equipment manufacturers to ensure is running on the latest recommended release and patch.
  • Address critical, high, and medium/low security vulnerabilities within specified timeframe.
  • Implement, operate, configure, maintain, and replace equipment to include: LAN firewall, Site to Site VPN, LAN load balancer, DOJ’s VTC service, THUB network, Internal Proofpoint Mail Servers, and current monitoring systems (e.g., Cisco DNA, Cisco Prime, Live Action, and Xymon).
  • Deploy and maintain Zscaler related physical and virtual machines to include but not limited to: ZPA connectors; LSS connectors; NSS systems; Private Service Edges (ZPA & ZIA).
  • Configure policy for both ZPA and ZIA in the customer’s shared tenant.
  • Provide vulnerability mitigation. Improve data replication and failover.
  • Maintain and improve the required security devices (firewalls, etc.) between the current operational environment and Third‐Party connections.
  • Execute business continuance and disaster recovery plans.
  • Research, design, and implement, new technologies (i.e. Zero-Trust technologies), equipment (e.g., Fortigate and Cisco ISE). Participate in on call rotation

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of relevant IT experience relating to Network Design, Architecture, Engineering, or Security

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience in analyzing network requirements, drafting project documentation, coordinating with customers, deploying system technologies, providing project reporting, project oversight, and projecting out-year network requirements
  • Experience and understanding of Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, Intrusion Detection System, and network management and monitoring including OPNET
  • Experience and understanding of DNS, email, web, and file proxies
  • Desired- must possess at least one (1) of the following (or other relevant certification):
    • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing & Switching
    • Zero Trust Container Architecture (ZTCA)
    • Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator - Internet Access (ZCCA-IA)
    • Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator - Private Access (ZCCA-PA)
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Data Center)
    • CISSP (Associate)
    • Cloud+
    • IAT L3 or Higher
    • IAM L3 or Higher
  • Clearance: Minimum active Top Secret
